VOIP FAQ’s

1. What is VOIP?

Voice Over Internet Protocol – Does what it says on the tin. However it's not just for calling people over the Internet with a  computer like skype but our VOIP service allows you to call or be called to or from any regular land line or mobile around the world as long as you have an internet connection (broadband preferrably). We can allocate you or port an incoming UK telephone number and then you can take it anywhere in the world and be called on it by people with regular telephones – Not just other people with the same software.

2. How Does It Work?

You pick up your VOIP phone (either software or hardware)  and dial a number as you would at home.  It's as simple as that. Do you know how your car engine works ??? You can use a free software based phone in conjunction with Earphones and a Mic to get started before you splash your cash on a nice handset or adapter to make computer free calls.

3. What Equipment Do I need To use VOIP?

You can use Free software on your pc or have a dedicated VOIP phone or even convert a BT phone with a VOIP adapter. We can supply you with a router with VOIP ports that let you plug your BT phone in so you can answer and make calls on both lines from the same phone.

4. How Much Does It Cost?

There is a small monthly charge which covers UK telephone number rental charges. Call costs are up to 75% cheaper than BT to call UK and Worldwide numbers

5. Who Can I Call?

Anyone around the world who has a telephone or a voip account
